So I figured out how I feel about B-Man's. My old lady is from the Eastside so I have eaten there a few times. The food on the menu is familiar to me, I am a Japanese American.
So like I said, I figured out what is happening with me and B-Man. I think that the person who owns B-Man and (just as important) the people who work there care about the food and the restaurant.
Each time I order, I can see in the order takers eyes that the food is going to be good. ya know? I am not saying that anything is the best I ever had or the lowest cost for what I get. I am saying that for this menu, the food is really good, generous, and well made. These are the things I hope for when I eat out.
I get disappointed when a I feel that anyone I deal with doesn't care. And when I want it, I drive a bit of a distance (Monterey Park) to get me some B-Man. -

Solid teriyaki chicken and egg rolls.
Been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food here. This place is known for its Teriyaki chicken and it is good. I can't say it's better than Ono because they are cooked differently. I also like Spam Musubi, Mahi Mahi, and I absolutely love the egg rolls here.
Price is reasonable and service is decent. Highly recommend if you're craving Teriyaki chicken. -

I first ate at B-mans 3 years ago and I have not stopped going there ever since. Good food and reasonable prices. My favorite is the chicken teriyaki or chicken curry.
B-mans runs a tight operation and the food comes out quickly. The girls that take your order and distribute the food are always polite, and always have a smile on their face.
I live in North Pasadena and drive by numerous food joints that serve the same type of food as B-mans, but only B-mans satisfies my taste buds. -

Intrigued by the number of raving reviews by yelpers I follow - I convinced my husband to check it out.
Opted for their teri chicken, teri beef, and curry chicken with brown rice. My husband ordered their abc burger, mini teri chicken bowl, and drink combo. Their main attraction - teriyaki chicken was wayyyyyy too sweet. In fact, they doused the entire box with sauce. Tasty maybe for the initial bite? I personally was so over it within 2 mins. The other items - curry chicken consisted of mainly potato and the abc burger's patty was pretty pounded out aka thin.. barely a burger.
Overall - not sure what the hype is about, my meal was disappointing. -

Yay B-Man's! I've been here several times for lunch and dinner. I enjoy the Chicken Breast bowl with veggies instead of cabbage ($0.50 charge). I have gotten both white rice and brown rice previously and both are great options. The cost is $8.09 and the portion is a good size. The teriyaki sauce is tasty and slightly sweet. The sauce really makes the bowl shine.
A bonus is that Half & Half is next door, so you can have lunch and get a drink all in one stop.
The negatives is that the parking lot is a complete mess. It's not organized well, so you'll have cars pulling in and going out of the driveway (off of San Gabriel) at a standstill. The parking rows are very long too. It takes more time to get into the parking lot at busy times than it does to find a spot.
